Orthodontic problems are mostly of genetic origin, however, can also develop due to reasons such as thumbsucking, chronic mouth breathing, upper airway obstructions, abnormal tongue posture, or tongue thrust.
Orthodontic treatments can be performed with metal or transparent brackets fixed to the teeth and orthodontic wires attached to them, as well as with clear aligners that can be removable without a bracket-wire system.
Regardless of the system used, each orthodontic treatment should
be applied according to biomechanical principles, within the context of a correct diagnosis. It is
critical that this process, which needs to be well organized and spans an average of 18-24 months,
is managed by an orthodontist who has received specialty training in the discipline of orthodontics.

orthodontic treatments, which usually last for 18-24 months, are organized once every 4-5 weeks. treatments with clear aligners, appointments can be scheduled once a 6-8 week.
