Trauma-related dental injuries are common in preschool or school age. In cases where the tooth is broken, if possible, the broken piece should be found and put into the milk and a pediatric dentist should be consulted as soon as possible. In cases where the tooth is displaced, if possible, the tooth should be found and put into the milk and a pediatric dentist should be consulted as soon as possible.

Baby teeth play an important role in the growth and development of the child. It guides not only speech, chewing and aesthetics, but also the eruption of permanent teeth. During the output of some letters, the tongue touches the back of the upper front teeth. In the absence of these teeth, it becomes difficult for the child to remove these letters. When the milk teeth decay and cause pain, the nutrition of the child who has difficulty in chewing the food and the growth and development associated with it may be impaired. Milk teeth also provide a healthy grinding of food. Digestive health problems can also be seen in children who are missing milk teeth or who cannot chew efficiently due to pain. Children who are disturbed by the blackness or cavities on their teeth when they smile may be psychologically disturbed by thinking that they are ugly. Milk teeth also guide the eruption of permanent teeth. In cases where the primary teeth are not treated and lost early, problems with the gums may occur as a result of crowding in the permanent teeth, inability of the permanent teeth to come out, being buried, and the falling of the teeth adjacent to the empty area.

Not cleaning the tartar impairs the gum health. For this reason, it should be ensured that the formed dental stones are cleaned and the gums are made healthy again. When done correctly, tartar cleaning has no harm. With ultrasonic cleaners, dental stones are removed by vibration. Afterwards, surface stains are cleaned by polishing with a mechanical brush. It should be checked regularly every six months, and if there are any formed dental stones, they should be removed and the stains should be cleaned.

Teeth may lose their whiteness over the years due to food, drinks (coffee, wine and tea) and cigarette consumption. Although surface stains can be removed with scaling cleaning and polishing, a lightening in tooth color cannot be achieved. Tooth bleaching can be done with the whitening process. There are two types of treatment methods. The first of these is the method that gives faster results in your dentist's office (Office bleaching), and the other is the method that you can apply yourself at home (Home bleaching). The whitening process gives very successful results with the indication of the right patient (having healthy teeth and gums with good oral hygiene). The bleaching process applied by the physician in clinics is more preferred because it is more controlled and safer in terms of gums.
